Friends of Maroondah Reservoir Park - CAR PARK Garden Restoration

We are a volunteer group whose purpose is to rejuvenate the landscaped garden beds and restore ornamental features at Maroondah Reservoir Park. Our goal is to preserve the beauty of the park for future generations to enjoy. If you want to get involved and help us achieve our mission, please join us in our efforts.

During 2023 and 2024 the group will be working towards restoring the car park garden to a state that is captured in the picture below.

Works include removing the dead vegetation and weeds currently occupying the bed, re-instating the rockwork that spells out CAR PARK, planting a hedge and replacing the rotten fence posts.
